About Rehabilitation

1 on 1 Rehabilitation

Reduce your aches, back and joint pains with our Pilates classes.
You’ll feel the difference!
It’s time to get your Life back on track.

If you are looking for specific tailored help, for a particular issue, such as an injury or chronic pains, then you are in the right place.

Pilates movement is proven to help reduce those back and joint pains, helping your body to feel more free (and even a little bit more floaty 😊). You will notice an increase in your flexibility and mobility, a strengthened body and increased muscle tone…all with an improved posture to boot!

Life is for living, for enjoying those special moments and occasions. I want you to be able to enjoy lunch out with your friends, attend that wedding and play with the kids at the beach….I want you to be able to enjoy those times, without your mind constantly nagging you about horrid pains.

Sessions can be held in my studio in Leicestershire or remotely via zoom.

Rehabilitation

Some years ago now, I was in a very poorly state. I couldn’t stand for 10 minutes, I couldn’t get off the chair without screaming in pain and collapsing with nausea (due to the pain). Let alone, try and run across the garden to play with my boys. It was distressing, I felt helpless and no-one seemed to know what was going on. Then finally, I got diagnosis (of a hypermobility condition), and I was told that I needed to practice Pilates to help me manage my condition.

Oh my! What a difference it made to my life

I was so amazed by the difference it made to my life, that I changed career, from my corporate-world role, to helping others with Pilates.

I started from a less than beginner status, is it any wonder that I am passionate about making sure Pilates is tailored to help you with your issue. Sometimes, a group class is not for everyone.

What to expect

Rehabilitation sessions are personalised tailored sessions, adapted for your particular need/addressing a particular issue(s).

These sessions take a whole body ‘integrated system’ approach to help you get moving, and achieve your particular goal.  That goal maybe to be able to simply enjoy everyday life or to achieve greater goals.

Example goals

  • everyday life…resolving nagging back pains
  • everyday life…spend more time with grandchildren
  • resolving an injury/injuries…recent or old
