“Pilates came into my life at just the right time. I had tried various different classes and had even joined a Gym to help keep me mobile as I suffer with chronic back pain.
Then after a flyer came through my door I decided to try Pilates. One of the best decisions I have made!
At the start of each class Tanya asks about everyone’s aches and pains and encourages us all to do the exercises at our own pace and limitations. She is constantly checking that each one of us is in a correct position or adjusting the movement to suit and is so intuitive to our different needs. How very different to classes where you feel you need to keep up!I enjoyed the mat work classes so much I decided to join a Reformer class and was delighted when Tanya started to teach them. Again lots of encouragement and variation to keep you on your toes! I love my two sessions of Pilates each week and really notice a difference if I miss one. My mobility is so much better and my posture. I am stronger too. And no more taking medication – what a difference Pilates has made to my life.
