Ehlers Danlos: Pain

Ongoing, chronic pain is very common with EDS/HSD.

Pains experienced are widespread and varied. With EDS/HSD you may experience many of the following:

  • joint pains
  • muscle pain
  • nerve pain
  • bruising

Management of pains can include a number of strategies:

  • tools (braces, supports, occupational aids)
  • exercise such as Pilates
  • medication

It is highly recommended that you find an exercise specialist that is knowledgeable in EDS/HSD.

TANYA is a Hypermobility Rehabilitation Pilates Specialist.
